Two Golf Courses Burglarized In Worcester County

WORCESTER CO., Md. - Police are looking for information about two similar incidents at golf courses in Worcester County.

According to the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, on December 5th, someone broke into a storage shed at the Ocean City Golf Club, and used the golf carts that were stored there to damage the greens and fairways of the course.

During the investigation into the incident, investigators found out that something similar had happened at the River Run Golf Course on December 3rd.

The suspect or suspects are facing burglary and malicious destruction of property charges. Anyone with information on either incident should contact Worcester County Bureau of Investigation at 410-632-1111 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776, where caller can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
