First State To Celebrate Delaware Day

WMDT 47 NEWS - December 7th is "Delaware Day", in honor of Delaware becoming the first state to ratify the Federal Constitution.     

Celebrations will be happening throughout the First State tomorrow.  The official proclamation of Delaware Day kicks off at the Delaware Public Archives in Dover at 1 p.m.    

Georgetown will be throwing a free, family-friendly celebration at 16 Mile Brewing Company, starting at 3 p.m.
