Cambridge Man Charged On Slew Of Drug Offenses

CAMBRIDGE, Md. - A Cambridge man who was arrested on drug charges, is now behind bars. According to the Dorchester County Sheriff's Department, they searched a Douglas Street home, in Cambridge.

Officials say that they found Dontae Dennis, 35, of Cambridge, apparently attempting to destroy evidence in an upstairs closet. During the search the sheriff's office says they found 30 Oxycodone Tablets, 2.9 grams of Marijuana, 23 grams of Heroin, trace amounts of Cocaine and assorted Paraphernalia.

Dennis was arrested, and charged with possession with intent to distribute a narcotic drug, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of paraphernalia. He was also apparently wanted in both Kent and Queen Anne County for failure to appear. Dennis is being held on $58,000 bond.
