Free Car Seat Check In Fruitland

FRUITLAND, Md. - Safe Kids Lower Shore Maryland and Fruitland Police Department are hosting a free car seat check on Friday, December 7th.

The inspections will take place at the Fruitland Police Department from 1 to 4PM. 

Event organizers say the safest place for children of any age to ride is properly restrained in the back seat.  Data shows that child safety seats reduce the risk of death in car crashes by 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers ages one to four.
