Somerset County Denied Storm Funding

SOMERSET CO., Md. - We begin with the devastation in Somerset county left by Superstorm Sandy, and we're now learning that the residents who have been holding out hope for funding have been denied.

We're told the request for individual assistance has been turned down. A letter was sent to the state and there was concern whether the county met the state's threshold. During a Chamber Of Commerce meeting this morning, we're told a group of watermen were so upset about the news they walked out.
