Bay Bridge Toll Booth Collecting For Toys For Tots

Posted: Updated:

MARYLAND - The Maryland Transportation Authority is collecting toy donations in a unique way. On December 5th, 6th, and 7th, from 6 - 9 AM and again from 3 - 5 PM, MDTA staff will collect new, unwrapped, toys at the Bay Bridge for Toys for Tots.

Toll facility customers who want to donate, should use the far-right toll lane, including EZ-Pass customers. Once in the lane follow directions from either Santa, uniformed MDTA police officers, or MDTA staff. Toys can only be dropped off during these times, toll collectors cannot accept donations.

The toys that are collected will be distributed to less fortunate children in Baltimore. For more information on the MDTA's collection efforts, visit the MDTA's website. For more on the Toys for Tots program, visit Toys for Tots' web site.
