Delaware State Police Honors Fallen Troopers

Posted: Updated:

SMYRNA, Del. - Today in Delaware, state troopers killed in the line of duty are being honored. Governor Jack Markell joined Delaware State Police this morning in Smyrna for a memorial service.

You'll recall back in September, police paid tribute to Trooper George Emory who was killed 40 years ago in a car accident, while he was on his way home from work. Emory is one of many officers that have died, proudly wearing their badge.
