Salisbury Residents Celebrate Holidays With Annual Parade

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - It's December and that means holiday parades are marching to a town near you.

Salisbury celebrated with its 66th annual Jaycees Christmas Parade and nearly 75 community groups from across the area marched down the streets of Salisbury.  It began at Civic Avenue and Mount Hermon Road.

Brian Stiegler with his daughter Amy Claire said, "We're looking to seeing her [Amy Claire's] big sister, who will be carrying the sign for the Bennett High School marching band and her big brother, who will be playing the trumpet for the Bennett Middle School."

The parade ended at 4 p.m.  This year's theme was "Superhero Christmas."
