23rd Alleged Arson In Accomack County

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - The Virginia State Police is investigating the 23rd arson case since November 13th.

December 1st, at approximately 12:02 a.m., the Virginia State Police received a call of an abandoned structural fire in Accomack County on Saxis Road.  No injuries have been reported. This is the second fire overnight, making it the 23rd arson case being investigated on the Eastern Shore.

Virginia State Police Special Agents are still out investigating and  following leads. State  Police agents are continuously asking the public to come forward with any and all information that will help in this investigation.

Anyone with information about the fires should call the Virginia State Police at 1-800-582-8350 or 424-6820. The Accomack County Sheriff's Office is also investigating and can be reached at 787-1131.
