Volunteers Needed For Assateague Island Clean-up

ASSATEAGUE IS., Md. - A month after Sandy ripped through Eastern Shore, communities across Delmarva are still trying to recover.

Assateague Island needs your help in restoring the coastline.  This Sunday, there will be a cleanup from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the National Park.  Volunteers should meet at the new visitor center with suitable clothing and knee-high or hiking boots.
