GOOD MORNING DELMARVA - Celebrate Delaware Day at 16 Mile Brewing Company on Friday December 7th from 3 to 8 pm at 16 Mile Brewery located at 413 South Bedford Street Georgetown, Delaware 19947.

It is free admittance to everyone.

Come to the event for a family friendly celebration of the First State while raising funds for Children & Families First!

The event includes Bethany Blues Pulled Pork Sandwiches, 16 mile beer and more delicious food. Proceeds from beer sales go to the charity, Children & Families first.

The celebration also included Live Radio Stations, live music, 20 local businesses and non-profits participating, a bon fire courtesy of the Georgetown Fire Company, and a silent auction to also benefit Children & Families First.

Since 1933, the governors of Delaware have proclaimed December 7 as Delaware Day in honor of that day in 1787, when Delaware became the first state to ratify the Federal constitution, thus making Delaware the first state in the New Nation.
