PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - In preparing for the working world. High school juniors and seniors came out to UMES today for the Tri-County College Fair today.

It's an event that gives students here on the shore an opportunity to connect with recruiters from over 100 higher education institutions and different branches of the military. Not only did it bring students from all states, but from all ages, between middle and high school.

Tyrone Young, the Director of Admissions for UMES, said "It's important to understand what's the next step? You know, because even though, high school is a ways off and, uh, even though college is a ways off, they need to understand that the better you do now, the easier it'll be for you later."

We're told about 1700 students came out for this year's fair.
