SALISBURY, Md. - Richard Allen Forsyth, 76, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Born in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Thomas Carlton Forsyth and Edna E. Musgrove Forsyth. He was a member of the Salisbury Moose Lodge. He retired from the US Federal Government in the electronics division of the National Security Agency in 1979 after 25 years. He had a love for antique cars, hunting, construction work and his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Doris Joan Bronder Forsyth; a daughter, Debbie Joan Forsyth of Salisbury; 3 grandsons, Dr. Douglas Neal Craig and his wife, Coralie of Chicago, Il, Richard Allen Gooding and his wife, Heather of Salisbury and James Thomas Gooding and his fiancée, Sue Bradford of Parsonsburg; 3 great grandchildren, Dakota Bradford, Mia Craig and James Gooding; and his pet dog, "Prancer".
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Marie Craig; and a granddaughter, Shannon Marie Craig. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 12 noon at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
