Community Meeting On Future Of Fruitland/Allen Transfer Station

FRUITLAND, Md. - Officials are looking for another location for a new trash and recycling transfer station.    

The one on Allen Road in Fruitland is shutting down in late February.  The County Council decided to close it after complaints from residents.    

Tomorrow night, there will be a community meeting to discuss the next step.  It starts at 7 p.m. at the Winfield Center.
