REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Bella Anderson is just 9 years old, but she's making a huge impact in fighting hunger. She filled an entire van with food she collected from her family, classmates, and local businesses.

She surprised Dale Dunning with almost 100 pounds of food for the Jusst Sooup Ministries Monday. After meeting the extreme Extreme Home Makeover recipient, she knew she wanted to follow in her footsteps by helping those in need.

"At school I saw my teacher talking about it so I wondered if I could help," Bella tells us.

Dale was ecstatic:

"It's absolutely wonderful as a matter of fact it's humbling," she beams.

"What a heart that child has I mean to be that age and to have a heart to feed and to love to care and it's all based on love."

And these items couldn't have come at a better time. Dale tells WMDT that over the past few months, her donations have taken a nose dive decreasing by 80 percent. And between the holidays and Superstorm Sandy, every item goes a long way.

Which is why Bella is proving you are never too young to make a difference.
