WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. - An early morning fire leaves a Wicomico County resident in critical condition.

The fire began a little around 10:12AM on Nanticoke Road. Police say neighbors helped 71-year old Sarah Hull escape the burning one story home through a bedroom window. She received smoke inhalation injuries and was transported to PRMC in stable but critical condition.

The fire caused an estimated $57,000 in damages. The State Fire Marshall's office says the fire was accidental, and was caused by faulty electrical wiring.
