POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - On Thursday, November 22, 2012, Ruth H. Hall, entered into eternal rest. Born August 16, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Carrie Hickman, she was the devoted wife of Edgar A. Hall for 65 years; loving mother of Faith (William) Hermann, Sharon (Douglas) Dryden, John (Polly) Hall, and Brenda (Dan) Sarna; cherished grandmother of Marsha (Glenn) Chase, Cameron and Caitlin Dryden, Jason, Jenny, and Jackie Sarna; beloved great-grandmother of Hannah and Sarah Chase and Tyler and Logan Sarna. Also, she is survived by her many dear nieces and nephews. Her brother, James, predeceased her.
She retired from the A&P after 28 years. She was a fantastic cook for her family and
friends, well-known for her baking and preserving skills. She enjoyed spending time
with her family at the beach in Nags Head. She was a compassionate friend to many in
her church and town. She will be missed more than words can say, but we take comfort
in knowing she is with Jesus.
Family and friends may call Saturday, November 24 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, November 25, an hour prior to the 2 PM funeral service, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
