
SNOW HILL, Md. - Christmas in Snow Hill is will be in full swing for First Friday on December 7, 2012. Local merchants and gallery owners in the downtown area will stay open until 8PM. Visitors will find special discounts, art openings, and light refreshments throughout the downtown.
Pocomoke River Canoe Company welcomes Snow Hill Elementary School's PTA for its Christmas fundraiser. The PTA will have baked goods and hot chocolate for sale. Santa will there from 5:30 until 8:00 for pictures at $7.00 each. Pictures are free for PTA members. The Winter Train Garden is open upstairs from 5 -8 pm. Next door Antiques by The River offers books, collectibles and antique treasurers that are ideal for holiday giving.
Eight local artists will demonstrate decoy carving in the Firehouse from 5-8pm on Friday and again on Saturday from 10AM to 3PM. Downstairs the Middle School Glee Club will fill the air with Christmas songs beginning at 6:00pm.
First Fridays are sponsored by Arts on the River, Snow Hill's Art and Entertainment District, the Worcester County Arts Council and the Maryland State Arts Council.
