December 14th - 17th - Seaford Holiday Home Decorating Contest

SEAFORD, Del. - A local town is giving residents an incentive to decorate for the holidays, by holding a contest. The City of Seaford and Mayor William G. Bennett, is hosting the 2012 Holiday Decorating Contest.

The contest is for residents within the corporate limits of the City of Seaford. Prizes will be awarded to the residents who adorn their homes in the best decorations. Cash prizes will be given, $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place. There is no fee or registration process to enter, anyone who decorates their home's exterior are eligible.

Decorations will be judged by The Holiday Decorating Committee from December 14th through December 17th. After the winners are selected, residents will be notified by the Mayor and the awards will be presented at the council meeting on January 8th.
