MILFORD, Del. - A Harrington man was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill a woman, and burn down a store. Milford Police say that on Saturday morning, a little before 9:40 AM, 38-year-old Thomas Scott, was inside The Mills Brothers Market on SE 2nd Street, causing a disturbance and being disorderly.

When police arrived, they an employee of the store told them that Scott was armed. Police then reportedly gave him verbal commands, which they say he didn't follow. Eventually police say they were able to subdue Scott, who was apparently in possession of two knives.

An investigation showed that Scott and a 35-year-old female were involved in a domestic dispute inside of the store, where he reportedly told the victim that he was going to kill her and burn down the store with everyone inside.

Scott was charged with aggravated menacing, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, terroristic threatening, resisting arrest, harassment, offensive touching, disorderly conduct, and 2nd degree criminal trespass. He is being held at SCI on $12,500 bond.
