Facebook has been testing a range of new ad types recently and according to AllFacebook another set of ad types is being tested at the moment. Samuel Junghenn founder of Digital Marketing Service Think Big Online says this is to be expected over the coming months.

“In Facebook’s attempt to increase is monetization and commercial appeal they will be actively testing new ways to help advertisers get returns. This is good news for business owners and they should stay on top of the changes so if a change becomes permanent they are prepared to work with the change.” Said Mr Junghenn.

The current Facebook ad test is allowing pages to advertise within the Feed of a user who is not connected to the page or connected to a friend of the page. This new test is limited to just a few Pages but shows a major shift in Facebook policy around advertising.

“This is something that should be monitored closely and businesses should be aware of these changes. The more information we have on the changes and how they affect businesses the better decisions that can be made.” Said Mr Junghenn.
