5th Annual Turkey Trot Scheduled For Thanksgiving Day

FENWICK ISLAND, Del. - The 5th Annual Fenwick Island Turkey Trot will be held on November 22 at 8AM.  The 2.2 mile run/walk starts oceanside on Lewes Street in Fenwick Island, goes South to the Maryland state line and back.

There is no charge to participate.  Participants are encouraged to donate new blankets, comforters, sleeping bags, etc. for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts or a new toy for Toys For Tots.

All are welcome, including leashed pets, and costumes are encouraged.  Commemorative t-shirts are available and will be sold at the event for $20, with proceeds also benefiting Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
