Del. Troopers Investigate Georgetown Home Invasion

GEORGETOWN, Del. - Delaware State police are investigating a home invasion that occurred Saturday evening in Georgetown, Delaware.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:25PM on the 19000 block of Savannah Road. Two suspects entered the residence through an unlocked front door. Both were brandishing handguns. One suspect ordered one of the home's residents, a 65-year-old female, into a bedroom, where he stole jewelry and cash. The second suspect held the home's other resident, a 20-year-old male, at gunpoint, and stole other items from the home.

The suspects then ordered the victims into the 65-year-old female's vehicle, and stole a purse and cash from the vehicle. The suspects then fled. The victims were not injured.
