GEORGETOWN, Del. - Delaware State police are
investigating a home invasion that occurred Saturday, November 18 in Georgetown,
Delaware.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:25 p.m. on the 19000
block of Savannah Road, when the
two suspects entered the residence through an unlocked front door. Both were
brandishing handguns. One suspect ordered one of the home's residents, a
65-year-old female, into a bedroom, where he stole jewelry and cash. The second
suspect held the home's other resident, a 20-year-old male, at gunpoint, and
stole other items from the home.
The suspects then ordered the victims into the 65-year-old
female's vehicle, and stole a purse and cash from the vehicle. The suspects
then fled. The victims were not injured.
The suspects are described as a black male, approximately
25 years old, 5'9", 170 pounds, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and armed with an unknown type
handgun.
And the other is said to be a black male, 27 – 36 years
old, approximately 5'9", 175 pounds, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, also armed with an unknown type
handgun.
