November 26th - Pocomoke City Parade

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - The Monday after Thanksgiving, always means the Pocomoke City parade. The event is celebrating its 40th year, with a "Winter Wonderland" theme!

The parade is one of the largest on the Eastern Shore with more than 100 entries from Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia! There will be marching bands, beautifully decorated floats, clowns, fire departments, horses, and of course, Santa will be there!

The parade starts at 7:00 PM, sharp, on Market Street at 14th Street. It is expected to last around two-hours, ending at the Pocomoke River. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top entries in each of the 10 categories.

If you are interested in participating, call Mike Shannon at 410-957-0802. In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be postponed until Tuesday, November 27, at 7:00 PM.
