December 1st - Historic Princess Ann Holiday Celebrations

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - A local town is planning an entire day full of holiday celebrations. On December 1st, Historic Princess Anne will be hosting an all day celebration of the holiday season.

The day starts at 11 AM with a parade down Somerset Avenue, featuring marching bands, floats, fire trucks, and even Santa will be there! At Noon the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire House will hold a free pizza lunch and movie. The annual tree lighting with caroling, will start on the Town's Historic Courthouse Lawn at 5:30 PM. All these events are free.

Tours of historic homes and buildings throughout the town will also be available. Tickets for the tour cost $15, and can be bought at Somerset Choice Antiques on Somerset Avenue. More information call Ben Adler, Main Street Coordinator at 443-865-1344.
