Delaware Summit Looks At Prescription Drug Abuse

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - State officials are holding a daylong summit to draw attention to the growing problem of prescription drug abuse in Delaware.
    
Friday's summit at Delaware Technical & Community College in Newark
    
Speakers include Attorney General Beau Biden, U.S. Attorney Charles Oberly III, and Regina LaBelle, chief of staff for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
    
Participants will discuss the causes and growing case numbers of prescription drug abuse, along with steps being taken to find solutions, including treating addicts.
