DORCHESTER CO., Md. - A local middle school stepped up to collect donations for Superstorm Sandy victims.
A few teachers at North Dorchester Middle School put together a drive for supplies to bring up to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission in New Jersey.
The drive only lasted three days, but the amount of donations, way exceeded their expectations. They were hoping to get three car loads worth, but they ended up having to ask WIN Transportation to deliver the donations in a tractor trailer truck!
They delivered the donations on Saturday afternoon, and say that the Mission was very grateful.
