Information Sought In Denton Arson

DENTON, Md. - A Denton fire has been ruled as arson, and officials are looking for information. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says that the fire that happened a little before 10:00 PM on November 9th, started on the back porch of the Market Street Home.

The 2 story home was apparently vacant, a neighbor discovered the fire. It reportedly took 35 firefighters a half an hour to extinguish the blaze, that caused $20,000 worth of damages.

Officials have ruled the cause as arson, and are asking anyone with information to call them at 410-822-7609.
