Blood Bank Of Delmarva To Hold Mobile Community Blood Drive

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The Blood Bank of Delmarva will visit Rehoboth Lutheran Church for a community blood drive on Monday, November 19 from 1PM to 6:10PM.

A single blood donation can save up to three lives when split into components – and the entire process, from intake interview through the donation (which takes just minutes) to cookies in the canteen takes just about one hour.

Each year near Thanksgiving, donations drop due to travel schedules. In addition, Blood Bank of Delmarva continues to re balance the blood supply in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. All blood types are needed, and donors with O-negative blood are particularly encouraged to donate.
