WORCESTER CO., Md. - A big announcement for a local homeless shelter, getting a much needed boost. In honor of Diakonia's 30th Anniversary, the community foundation has helped establish a permanent endowment fund.
This will provide annual income to support their efforts on the shore. As it gets colder, food and shelter is more in demand. To make a donation, checks can be made out to The Community Foundation.
