SALISBURY, Md. - Salisbury University paid respect to our nation's veterans.
The university's ROTC students presented the colors before beginning the ceremony. Then, students who served in the military spoke to the crowd, telling their stories of what it means to be a Veteran. We spoke with the president of the Student Military Veterans Association who tells us what it means for him.
"People actually really do appreciate veterans, this isn't like the sixties," said Bob Landolt, a 2nd Class Gunners Mate for the US Coast Guard. "Just focusing it on one day a year, it gives you the warm and fuzzies."
