New OC Council Members Sworn In

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City elected new members to Council.    

Last night, four members were sworn into office.  Doug Cymek and Mary Knight won re-election, while Joe Mitrecic and former city manager Dennis Dare join them.  Also, Mayor Rick Meehan was re-elected.  Lloyd Martin was named the president of city council, while Knight was named Council Secretary.    

City council opposed one issue, as members voted down the Amendment Collective Bargaining Agreement which would have allowed general employees the power to unionize.
