SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man convicted of attempted 1st degree rape of a Salisbury University student, has been sentenced.
20-year-old Maurice James was sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted in August of attempted 1st degree rape, attempted 2nd degree rape, 3rd degree sexual offense, 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, and false imprisonment.
The attack happened on March 31st of this year, behind Salisbury University's Magg's Gym.
