POCOMOKE CITY, Md. - An alleged fight over a wood stove lands one Pocomoke City man behind bars. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says that 41-year-old Shawn Marshall, got into a verbal altercation with another person over a wood stove.
According to officials, during the fight, Marshall went into the house, and grabbed a shotgun. He reportedly fired twice at the victim, which didn't hit them, but made him fear for his safety.
Pocomoke City Police caught up with Marshall after he fled from the home, and arrested him. He was charged with 1st and 2nd degree assault, and reckless endangerment, and is being held on $25,000 bond.
