HARRINGTON, Del. - A Felton man was arrested after allegedly pretending to be robbed.
Harrington Police say that 52-year-old Clarence J. Barlow told them that, two armed men walked up to him in the Midway Shopping Center parking lot, and took more than $300 from him. After being interviewed, it was apparently clear to police that the story was fake, after they say that Barlow changed his story multiple times.
Police believe that Barlow lost the money, and lied to try and get his money back. He was arrested, charged with falsely reporting an incident to police, and released on bond.
