WMDT 47 NEWS - Veteran's Day is November 12th, and a restaurant chain is showing their support by giving away free lunches.

Texas Roadhouse is giving veterans and active duty service members a Texas-sized thank you, with free lunch on Veteran's Day. Every Texas Roadhouse in the country will be participating, including our local Camden and Seaford, DE and Salisbury, MD locations.

Officials say that last year they provided more than 80,000 United States military personnel with lunches. All veterans including all active, retired or former U.S. military gets a choice of 1 of 10 entrees during lunch, from 11 AM until 2 PM.

Participants must show proof of service like a military or VA card, or discharge papers. The free meal is for military personnel only; free meal offer does not include spouses or other family members.
