STOCKTON, Md. - David M. Guerrero, 57,of Stockton, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury after a long battle with cancer. Born in California he was the son of Joseph M. and Martha Guerrero. Mr. Guerrero was happiest when he was helping others and loved to talk with everyone. He was a wonderful, loving husband and father who always put his family's wishes first before his and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Karen Guerrero; daughter, Kimberly Guerrero and her boyfriend, James Rinkus, mother-in-law, Carol Rains, sister, Penny Cherrix and her husband, Zed; sister-in-law, Stephanie Adamy and her husband, Rich and their sons, Aaron and Benjamin, and "adopted" family member, Maria Velasco Santos and her daughter Maritza; He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Guerrero. He also leaves three devoted pets, Mr. Buttons, Harvin and Dempsy who were by his side, continuously, during his illness.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.at Wesley United Methodist Church in Stockton. Officiating will be Rev. Sumner Jones. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society/Hope Lodge, Baltimore, Maryland.
