REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP)
- A new City Hall in Rehoboth Beach is looking smaller and less expensive than
initially thought.
The Daily Times of
Salisbury reports that cost estimates for the building have decreased from $20
million to $13.5 million.
The new plan calls for a
smaller complex, at 36,345-square-feet, that will result in lower renovation
and construction costs. The plan emerged from a meeting between architects and
City Manager Gregory Ferrese.
All city operations would
be located in the new complex.
