SALISBURY, Md. - Locals got to eat restaurant quality food at home all for a great cause.
Peninsula Regional Medical Center held it's the Second Annual Culinary Adventure Tour. Chefs from six-area restaurants cooked up dishes like Maryland Crab Soup for residents, who donated money to the hospital.
All proceeds go to the Trauma Center, where officials tell us they are close to meeting their goals.
"We have $225,000 left to pay towards our $1 million pledge and we hope to be presenting the hospital a large check at the end of this year," said Cynthia Holloway, President, Junior Auxiliary Board.
