Somerset EMS Opens Essential Service Center

Posted: Updated:

WESTOVER, Md. - Somerset County officials opens an service center for locals affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Located on 8928 Sign Post Road in Westover, officials want for residents  to get as much information from the state on the entire clean up process and what they should be doing.  Also, food, bottle water, clean-up kits and comfort kits with shampoos will be supplied to anyone who goes.

"Our main concern right now is to get help to people," said Steve Marshall, director of Somerset County EMS.  "We have people with immediate needs that we are finding and that's one of the reasons that this center is open, so we'll keep it open as long as we need to."

If you need any assistance or are looking for additional information, contact Somerset EOC at 410-651-0707.
