DELAWARE - After Sandy some Delaware homeowners may be eligible for assistance from FEMA. Damages must first be reported to a local city or county Emergency Management Agency.
If your home was significantly damaged, so much so that you had to move out or live somewhere else while its being repaired, be sure to report it to your local EMA. If the residence is a mobile home and water reached floor level, owners should also call.
Business owners can also call, if the business had physical or economic losses that aren't covered by their insurance company.
Property owners who fail to call and make a claim, could miss the opportunity to get help. If you have any questions, call your local number below.
