WMDT 47 NEWS - More than 1,400 pounds of chicken nuggets are being recalled after the company reportedly didn't declare an allergen ingredient. Perdue Foods, LLC, is recalling some of their chicken breast nuggets after milk was not shown on the label.
The products are:
Bundled packages containing 3 12-oz. tray packs of "Perdue Original Chicken Breast Nuggets." Each package bears the establishment number "P. 369" inside the USDA mark of inspection and a "Sell By" of Dec. 16, 2012.
The nuggets were made on October 16th, and were distributed to multiple states, including Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service will have a distribution list posted on their website. The labeling error was discovered by the company, but they haven't received any reports of anyone getting sick.
