Food, Housing and Free Ice For Crisfield Residents

Posted: Updated:

CRISFIELD, Md. - Displaced residents returning to their homes in Crisfield, are getting some much needed help from the community.

FEMA is setting up food and water for them, at the Housing Authority's community center. There, residents can also find housing assistance, and it doesn't end there. The Food Lion is giving away bags of ice while supplies last.

"You're looking at probably over 10 pallets of ice, thousands of dollars, so as far as an exact amount I can't tell you. But it's quite a bit. To be able to support the community, there's more than enough," said Food Lion's District Manager, Tanya Zucchero. @

Also, a reminder for Crisfield residents, the drinking water restriction has been lifted.
