DELAWARE - Many roads in Delaware remain closed after the superstorm. DelDOT officials say that Route 1 between Dewey Beach and Bethany Beach is still closed. Crews are working to removed the sand from the road, then it will be inspected before its re-opened.
Prime Hook Road is also still closed, because of high water. After the water recedes, it will also be inspected before being reopened.
The Blades Draw Bridge is open to vehicle traffic, but it will be a few days before it can be raised and lowered for water traffic, because the electrical equipment needs to be inspected after being submerged.
All traffic signals in the state are working. For the rest of the week, late fees are being waived by the DMV for licenses and vehicle registrations that expired.
DART is back running on its regular schedule, but they are asking riders to be careful getting on and off the buses. DelDOT is working to get rid of the debris that the storm left behind.
