SALISBURY, Md. -- 71 Members of The Maryland National Guard are gearing up for a year long deployment. It was a bitter sweet send off for those in the Maryland National Guards 115th Police Battalion in Salisbury Thursday.

"I felt the need was there that and for the children and a little bit for our own personal satisfaction," she tells us.
But for Elizabeth Holland, she's due to give birth to her first child any day now, facing the realization that she will be doing it alone.
"I know it's going to hit me tomorrow I'm going to ball like a baby. I'm sure just knowing now that we're married and now I have to see my husband leave and I have a baby on the way it's just hitting me hard," she tells us.
