Blood Bank Of Delmarva Needs Donations

DELMARVA - Blood Bank of Delmarva will be open tomorrow, October 31st for all donor appointments and blood donation.

Local blood inventory levels have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. The Blood Bank Of Delmarva is specifically in need of O- donors and blood platelets which only have a 5-day shelf life. They ask that blood donors please do their best to keep their scheduled appointments. If you are unable to make your appointment, they request that you call 1-888-8-BLOOD-8 to cancel so they can attempt to fill those appointments.

Additionally, for those who were scheduled to donate on Monday and Tuesday, the Blood Bank of Delmarva asks that you call as soon as you are able to re-schedule those appointments.
