Massive Sinkhole Blocks Old Ocean City Road

WILLARDS, Md. - After evaluating the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, crews found a massive sinkhole. It is near the intersection of Hall road and Old Ocean City road in Willards.

The road split, and dropped right out, over what looks like a small bridge.

The hole is large enough to fit an SUV, so drivers should take heed, and follow the detour through. For those living or walking in the area, the road surrounding it is not safe and can continue to crack or break through. Residents are asked not to get too close to the edge.
