SALISBURY, Md. - The City of Salisbury has lifted its civil emergency and curfew.
Both were set Monday night during Sandy. City officials are asking drivers to limit their driving as crews work to clear debris from the roads. Fitzwater Street, Delaware Avenue, and Lake Street all still have water on them. We're also hearing that West Isabella Street to Booth is flooded.
Structural engineers will be inspection the bridges, dams, and the City Marina, throughout the day.Trash pick-up will go on as scheduled for Wednesday, but residents with Tuesday pick-up can put out as much as needed, because of the cancellation. The Salisbury Zoo will remain closed until the water recedes.
Officials are reminding people that high tide is at 4:30 PM.
On a good note, Trick-or-Treating is still on for Wednesday night from 6 - 8 PM!
