HARRINGTON, Del. - During times of storm, everyone thinks about themselves and their loved ones, but don't forget about your pets, even the big ones.
The Delaware Department of Agriculture has announced that horse owners in Delaware can shelter their horses at the Delaware State Fairgrounds, during the storm. Officials say that the Sussex Barn will be free of charge, but there are a limited number of stalls available.
Owners are still responsible for providing daily care, including, food, water, bedding, and security. The fairgrounds assumes no liability.
